Thomas Chareyre back to win!

We are at the third race of the Italian Supermoto 2013, and was raced on the track in Battipaglia in the province of Salerno.
Thomas Chareyre and its Tm 450 are presented to this meeting after the good performance of previous races.

In the qualifications Thomas gets a strong second place just a few tenths from pole position, Chareyre and the team are confident of being able to play the win.

At the start of the first heat Chareyre part well and puts himself in the wake of the leader, Thomas for a few laps he studied his opponent and in the stretch off the road makes it impossible to overtake taking command of the operation and taking an incredible pace to win by a good margin.

In the second moto Thomas puts on the same script, but already in the first lap and took the lead for the remaining 15 steps no one can worry.

Thomas Chareyre provides incredible goals proving that he is the best rider in the world.
Only 15-day break and then back on track in the Czech Republic for the third round of the World on Track Sosnova where it ran from 2005.

The 8th rounf of the World Championship took place on the French track of Ernée. Ricci Racing Team’s riders are Shaun Simpson in Mx1, Ivo Monticelli in Mx2 and Samuele Bernardini in the EMx250.

“This morning I woke up with some pain due to yesterday’s crash, but in the Warm Up I felt better. In the first heat, some ups and downs,
I managed to obtain some points. In the first moto, a stone in a line damaged my gear lever and so I was forced to abandon.”

Sonne, Regen, Schlamm, Wasser von oben in großen Mengen, Wasser von unten, alles war vorhanden beim dritten Lauf in Marisfeld zur diesjährigen Meisterschaft, die Strecke wechselte von griffig zu rutschig, von staubig zu glatt wie Glatteis,
sehr viele Fahrer hatten ihre Probleme damit und auch unsere Fahrer wurden davon nicht verschont, von Ausfall bis hin zum Krankentransport per Hubschrauber war alles vorhanden, aber die positiven Sachen in den Vordergrund bei den Junioren, Matthias Scheel (Gindert race and fun) auf seiner 125iger, er brauchte die erste Stunde um sich auf den glatten Untergrund und die Steine
einzustellen, und dann lief es so wie er es sich vorstellte, Platz 4 , im folgte Johannes Richter auf seiner 250 Fi auf Platz 13,
die Senioren, immer schneller werdend Matthias Ridler auf seiner Zweizylinder, sichtlich mit Spaß und Freude unterwegs und als Lohn Platz 5, im folgten Dieter Müller, Logan Wilms und Christian Reisch ( 24./25./27.) Nikolas Ottis wurde 17. bei den Beginners und als Gast am Start der beste Mechaniker den wir jemals hatten, Jens Baumann auf der kleinen 144iger TM Racing,
bei den Sportfahrern, er dreht seine Runden, unauffällig, konstant, Denny Doras auf seiner 300er, Platz 5,
in den Sportfahrerklassen folgen ihm Kay Schwarz mit Platz 8, Bernhard Kreitmeier auf Platz 9, Thomas Oberndorfer auf Platz 18, Oliver Gwosdek 22., Georg Kaul 23., und Jens Maaser 40., D.Zottmann, S.Zottmann, C.Rothenbach ( 43./48./45.)
Bei den Experten in der Expertklasse, Michael Kotschenreuther, mit seiner 300er TM Racing, er hatte sicher keinen Spaß bei dem Regen und Schlamm, aber er kämpfe und das wurde belohnt mit dem 11. Platz und sicher in den Punkten, Der Pechvogel, am Samstag zu Testzwecken auf Platz 6 noch bei den Gästen unterwegs, Alex Heu, nach einen schweren Sturz wurde er vorsichtshalber ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert, eine mittelschwere Gehirnerschütterung wird ihn leider einige Zeit außer Gefecht setzen, Vom Supermotostore Andre Raab am Start, Michi Herrmann auf der kleinen TM Racing 250 Fi in der Proklasse auf Platz 6 vervollständigten die Ergebnisse von diesem ereignisreichen Wochenende

WARM UP THE ENGINES

With the transfer of Bobbio, fourth and fifth trial of the Italian Absolute  of Enduro championship, begins an intense month for the Enduro Circus.

Filed away the Absolutes, now the pilots of Team TM Factory are concentrating on the world double transfer, Rumania on the 15th and 16th June at Buzau a few kilometres from the capital Bucharest, and Greece at Kastoria the 22nd and 23rd June. The circle closes with the Absolutes again at San Giacomo di Roburent in the province of Cuneo the 7th July.

Our pilots at Bobbio did not shine  but behind this trial without colour there is a reason. Eero Remes did not want to push at maximum because the two trials in line were too slippery and made inaccessible from the rain of the previous days to the race. Caution and calmness was the motive of the Piacentino weekend.  

As regards to Aigar Leok, his presence  in Bobbio was uncertain, as you will remember the Estonian pilot raced the double Spanish GP and Portugal with an injury to his ribs and various problems with  his wrist and back. On his return to Estonia he tried to re-establish himself and to recuperate strength and energy, he therefore decided to take the transfer to Bobbio as pure practice without forcing the rhythm.

 The results, therefore, of our two pilots were not of the best, but ,with Eero Remes, he has climbed a little in the Foreigners class, and now the Finish pilot holds the temporary second position, overtaking  Johnnj Aubert. The score of the two days racing is two second positions and eight Special Trials won in the two days of the races. Furthermore , once more, Eero confesses, at the end of the race, his own admiration toward his motor in the race, TM 250.4T..

"Certainly the race at Bobbio will not be remembered as one of the most beautiful races of our two pilots, but with the sense of ,I can be happy that all went well, because Aigar Leok is still recuperating form injuries and in these two days it was his intention to not force his rhythm too much and take these stages has training , rather than a race. Eero Remes, also, did not want to push down hard, and even if he got some good points in the Absolute for foreigners classification, he certainly did not shine. Our thought were turned toward the world championship, because both are gambling a place on the final podium and the transfer in Rumania and Greece is surely very important, also ,because there is remaining only the  final stage in France”

" For me the race in Bobbio was good training. In the two days I committed a few too many mistakes, I did not want to force the rhythm, the  Special Cross Test Trial  Enduro Tests was somewhat fast while in the two Enduro Tests at times I committed  too many mistakes while in some I clocked good time. Now I have to concentrate for the double World appointment to be able to take a great result under the tm tent.”

AIGAR LEOK 
" After the GP of Portugal I went to treat myself in Estonia and I took a short period of time to rest. I came here to try out my shape, but I am not yet 100% and  the pain in my ribs, wrist and back are still bad. I am returning to Estonia and will continue my treatment, because I want to arrive for the GP of Rumania and Greece in better shape”

Great podium for Filippo Zonta!
On the day of Saturday, June 1 has opened the season of the Italian Supercross in the category SX125 Ricci Racing team fielded their young driver Filippo Zonta.
The first round was over at the town of Padua a beautiful location that has made a full house with more than 8,000 people.
In qualifying Filippo is located immediately at ease on the difficult track and with a series of fast laps gets the fifth time overall.
The qualifying heats Filippo Zonta part very well and in the first few laps I pushed the pace to avoid any mistakes, after studying his opponents Filippo changes pace and with a series of good passes up positions, finishing in third place.

In the main event starts immediately Filippo immediately breaking going strong attack of his opponents and with aggressive conduct of the race was able to score near the top by cutting the checkered flag in third place.
Thanks to these excellent results Filippo Zonta rooms on the third step of the podium.
Next round of the Supercross next July 13th on the beautiful track of Carpi.

Exceptional performance for Thomas Chareyre.

 The second stage of the World Supermoto race on the beautiful circuit of Vairano, a fast track with a stroke off-road very technical, unfortunately the rain on Saturday gave no respite affecting the performance of the tests.

Thomas Chareyre and his TM 450 have been involved, the Frenchman showed all his speed and skill in conditions of flooded track going to set the fastest time and winning the pole position.

In the first moto Thomas made a mistake at the start by failing to take advantage of the first position, the disadvantage suffered Chareyre has recovered and threw himself in pursuit of the first position. Thomas has also managed a couple of laps to take the lead but due to a mistake he had to leave the victory to his rival crossing the finish line in second place.

Race 2 was a real spectacle, Thomas Chareyre after a good start in the second lap he invented an impossible overtaking which earned him the lead, unfortunately during the final laps he made a mistake in the off-road section that did lose precious seconds and also the chance to win the race and also the grand prize.
Thomas has gained an excellent second place overall which bodes well for the championship.

Next round of the Supermoto Battipaglia in the next 8 to 9 June.

Enduro WM lauf Portugal

A NEARLY PERFECT SATURDAY

Filed away the transfer to Portugal with two splendid results on Saturday.  Eero Remes in the E1 with a third place and Aigar Leok  in the E3 with a second place. Instead, the results of the second day of the race were not great but neither disappointing , because, if he had not committed that mistake Eero Remes could have finished second .On the other hand, Aigar Leok  gritted his teeth and put up with the pain from his broken ribs, which had penalized him in Spain, but still finished fifth. While the young Benjamin Herrera was third until the last lap, but in the Special Enduro Trial he committed that mistake which expelled him from the final podium.

But from the GP of Portugal, in Torres Vedras, a small town about fifty kilometres from Lisbon, the pilots of Team TM Factory consolidated their own position in the championship.

Eero Remes  is always more bounded in fourth position and stays glued to the group of three leading the E1. Instead Aigar Leok chewed up a few of his opponents points and now sees the second position only a length away.

And the GP of Portugal is also finished. Yesterday I concluded it in third place, I committed a couple of bad mistakes, one at the Extreme Test and the other in the Cross Test, but in the end it went well and we climbed onto the podium. On the following day, Sunday, on the first lap and  at the first Special Trial, I fell, losing too many seconds. At the end I arrived fifth, yes, but from the second to the eighth place, two or three seconds are in play. I tried to push hard and I fought to the last Special but I did not make it. If I had not made that mistake at the beginning of the race, I could have arrived second, but, these are races.”

AIGAR LEOK
“On the first day everything went the right way, perfect. Yes, I committed a few mistakes, but time will come, and at the end  of the day I climbed on to the second step of the podium. Sunday started badly, a little because I was feeling physical problems that I bring with me from the Spanish GP, that is, broken ribs, but also,  pain in my wrist, pelvis and back. Now I will enjoy my temporary third position, at only one point from second and tomorrow when I return to Estonia, I’ll stop off  at various specialists, to return in shape, for the two next  stop over’s in the World Championship, Rumania and Greece. “

BENJAMIN HERRERA
“A difficult race, very long and with  lots of stones. During the first day, I withdrew because  of a mechanical problem on my motor while I was riding along in the Enduro Test.
On Sunday I was third and a lap away from the end, but at the Enduro Test I did wrong on the uphill and lost a lot of seconds.”

LUCA CHERUBINI
“A nearly perfect Saturday, the only thing missing was the cherry on the cake, that is, the victory on Aigar Leok’s part in the E3, he was in the lead up until the last lap. Instead in the E1 Eero did what he can do, which is, push hard, and he confirmed the third position. A rather unfortunate Sunday, Aigar fell a couple of times and his broken ribs and various pains to his arm and wrist penalized him. In the E1 Eero finished fifth but he could have made second as he could have made eighth because, in a patch of two seconds there were seven pilots. It’s a shame about that error because he could have  surely fought for the podium.

Benjamin, instead had a technical problem with his motor, and did not finish the race, while on Sunday he was fighting for a third position but, he too, paid for his errors dearly

THE PODIUM AGAIN FOR LEOK AND REMES.

The positive period continuous for our pilots and after the successes of Chile and Argentina even on European soil, Leok and Remes climb onto podium on both days of the race.

After the South American transfer, we transferred to Europe and the first appointment was in Puerto Lumbreras   for the Spanish GP. A demanding race that ,on Spanish soil because of t he difficulties which the pilots met in the three Special Trials, but also in many parts of the course.

And still the weekend  in Spain did not seem to take off on the right foot because Aigar Leok turned up with two ribs broken during practice before the Spanish GP. but the Estonian pilot did not hold back and conducted an excellent race, he gritted his teeth and conquered two great third positions in the E3 class that are worth two victories.

In the E1 class Eero Remes ran an excellent race, in the tow days of the race the Finish pilot won, no less, eight Special Trails. He arrived second twice and always fought for the
first position.

The first position, which, on Saturday was skimmed by little and only on the last lap, in the last two PS Eero lost those fatal and precious seconds. Aroused and feverish on Sunday. Eero, like Aigar, gritted his teeth and battled through to the last metre to conquer the second position of the class. At the moment in the temporary  classification of the E2, Eero Remes occupies the fourth place but the last step of the podium is only ten lengths.

Present at the race of Puerto Lumbreras , the newly acquired, by the official TM Benjamin Herrera who has ran a good trial. The score of the Chilean pilot is of a fourth and a sixth place.

“ A very positive weekend for the TM team. Aigar Leok has arrived in Spain with tow broken ribs and he fought like a lion, for the nth time he has demonstrated how tow fight and grit his teeth, and has managed to climb a good twice onto the podium. Eero Remes
Has been very fast and on both days of the race and to demonstrated it are the eight Special trials won and a first place just missed at the last lap. And on Sunday he raced with a temperature.

Benjamin Herrera trial has not been a disappointment and the GP of Spain will serve the young Chilean pilot to gain experience”

“ A very hard weekend because I arrived here with two broken ribs, due to a fall while practising. I was not sure about coming because the pain was lacerating, but after having conquered a good two third places, my dedication is to all the team and for me the two third places are like two victories.”

EERO REMES
”Yesterday Matti Seistola went very strong  and I was unable to beat him and conquer the first position. I am very pleased with the two second places because it was not easy to go round in the condition of the three Special Trials. On the two days of the race, Sunday went better than Saturday because I did not commit any errors and won a lot of Special Trials. I am happy because the motor goes well and it gets better at each GP.”

BENJAMIN HERRERA
“ I am very happy for the opportunity that TM are giving me to race here in Europe. The GP in Spain has been very hard and demanding and in my opinion did not go too well because I made too many errors, but for me, this has served to make experience “

24 Stunden oder Endurance day 2013 Hohenmölsen
Platz sieben für unser bestes Team, sowie Platz 30 und Platz 42 für Team 2 und 3 von 83 gestarteten Teams
TM Racing Germany hatte für 16 Fahrer oder 4 Teams Startplätze genannt, leider hatten wir viele Verletzungen und Absagen im Vorfeld und mussten daher mehrmals die Teams komplett umstellen oder neu besetzen, sowie ein Team war ganz unbesetzt, Team 1 ,
vom Siegerteam 2012 nur noch Kay Schwarz am Start, dazu kam Björn Pape vom Team Gindert Race and Fun und Michael Kotschenreuther aus unseren eigenen Reihen, Danke an die Drei dass sie es auf sich genommen haben die
24 Stunden als reines Dreierteam zu fahren, was jedoch noch besser betont wie stark die drei eigentlich waren, keiner zeigte irgendeine eine Schwäche, Björn mit den schnellsten Zeiten, Kay mit der Ausdauer und Michael mit Kondition und Willen ohne Ende, Michael musste zwei Runden vor Schluss als letzter raus auf die zerbombte Strecke, er wusste das seine Verfolger nur zwei Minuten hinter ihm waren, er legte zwei richtig gute Runden hin und in der letzten Runde sogar seine persönlich schnellste Runde nach 24 Stunden Fahrzeit, er hat den Willen und Kondition,
Team 2
Die beiden Zottmänner Sebastian und Dominik, Oli Gwosdek und Jens Maaser, ein versenktes Bike in der ersten Runde, ein gut reagierender Oli, der den Transponder schnell in die Box zurück bringen ließ , der zweite Fahrer konnte raus, das Bike wurde geborgen und in die Box gebracht, die Kupplung erneuert und Oli war wieder im Rennen, bei den beiden Zotti´s die Bremsbeläge vorne gewechselt und Jens fügte sich nahtlos ins Team ein, mehr war nicht nötig zu ihren Erfolg,
Team 3,
Matthias Ridler, Stefan Geyer , Uwe Ott und Harro Schücktanz, Mats, so wie wir ihn nennen, der älteste Fahrer im Team , mit viel Spaß auf seiner Zweizylinder unterwegs und nicht unter zu kriegen egal was kommt, Stefan Geyer eigentlich ein Crosser aber er hat ausgeholfen als Not an Fahrern war, Uwe Ott, ein Freund von unserem Verletztem Jochen Neubig , er fragte noch am Sonntagmorgen was er eigentlich gemacht hat, aber auch er kannte kein Aufgeben, Harro Schücktanz, ein rühriger TM Händler von mir, und bei einem kleinen Problem am Samstagmorgen mit seiner Schulter fanden wir schnell eine Ersatzlösung aus dem hohen Norden,

GP OF PORTUGAL – AGUEDA
Together with the sixth round of MX1 and MX2 World Championships, the circuit of Agueda hosted the 125 and 250 European Championships. In the 125 class, Lorenzo Ravera as well as Filippo Zonta raced for Ricci Racing Team.
In Mx1 Pre Qualifying Practices, Shaun Simpson gained a great 10th place; unfortunately, in the Qualifying Race, during the first lap, Shaun crashed because of a bad contact with another rider and his TM got damaged and he was forced to abandon.
On Sunday, Simpson went to the starting gate in 26th place. In the first heat, Shaun started really fast catching up many positions and maintaining the 7th place for most of the race, but few laps before the chequered flag he made a little mistake finishing 11th. In the second heat, Simpson still had a great start gaining the 10th place and maintaining it till the finish line.
In Mx2, Ivo Monticelli didn’t find the right feeling with the Portuguese track and in the Qualifying Race he finished 22nd. In the first race, Ivo Monticelli didn’t improve his performance finishing 22nd and in the second one he was forced to abandon because of a technical problem.

In the EMX250, Samuele Bernardini made too many mistakes and after having succeeded in qualifying he finished 28th.
In the EMX125 race, the two riders of the FIM project went on with their apprenticeship: Ravera finished 23rd and Zonta finished 27th.
Now fifteen days to relax and then we will fly to Brazil for the seventh GP of the 2013 season.
Ilario Ricci – Team Manager:
“Except the second race of Mx1 where Shaun finished 10th, I’m not satisfied with the results of this GP. In both the European Championships, our riders didn’t shine. There was the possibility of gaining some points but too many crashes compromised our performance. Even in Mx2 we had a disappointing week end, since Saturday Ivo Monticelli didn’t find the right feeling with the circuit.”
Ivo Monticelli – MX2 rider:
“I have no words about my GP. Since Saturday, I didn’t succeed in finding the right lines and this made me nervous. Then I even got wrong about the settings of my bike. I’m really angry with myself for my bad performance.”

Shaun Simpson – MX1 rider:
“My GP was marked by ups and downs. In the Qualifying Race, I crashed with Guarneri and I broke the radiator and I was forced to abandon. On Sunday, I started well in both the races. In the first heat, I was 7th but then I made a stupid mistake on a jump and I lost two positions. Three laps before the chequered flag, both Strijbos and Gonçalves overtook me and I finished 11th. In the second heat, I had a good start but I finished 10th. There are some improvements, I gained 21 points and caught up two positions in the overall classification. Now we are ready for leaving for Brazil and I hope to improve again my performance.”

Zweiter Lauf German Cross Country 04. und 05. Mai 2013 in Walldorf /Werra
Walldorf präsentierte sich wie schon gewöhnt von seiner besten Seite, am Samstag leicht feuchter Boden und sehr griffig, am Sonntag so abtrocknend das Gewässert werden musste, Die Fahrer vom Team TM Racing Gindert Race und Fun sowie von TM Racing Germany
zeigten sich auch von ihrer besten Seite, Allen voran der virusgeschwächte Alex Heu in der Klasse Expert auf Platz vier, Alex hatte
einen guten Start, übernahm zeitweise die Führung und musste dann aber auf Schadenbegrenzung fahren , Alex liegt inzwischen auf Quarantäne mit einem Virus im Krankenhaus, auch in der Klasse Expert Michael Kotschenreuther als 22. Bei den Fahrern der Advanceklasse zeigte Björn Pape mit Platz 13 sein Können, Beim Nachwuchs in der Klasse 65ccm, Jonas Dauderer bei seinem ersten Start 15. lässt hoffen, Matthias Scheel mit viel Spaß unterwegs und es macht Spaß im zuzusehen, der Lohn Platz 5,
in der gleichen Klasse Johannes Richter als 22. und Marc Breier als 37. Bei den Sportfahrerklassen, Jochen Neubig, verletzt an den Start gegangen, mit einer Minute Vorsprung die Klasse angeführt, über einen Wurzelstock geflogen, irgendwas in der Schulter
ist zerstört, aber aufgeben kennt Jochen nicht, Platz 6, im folgte auf Platz 8 Marco Wegener, auf Platz 12 Denny Doras auf Platz 17 Jens Maaser , Platz 18 Thomas Oberndorfer , Platz 30 Kay Schwarz, Platz 34 Dominik Zottmann, Platz 37 Oli Gwosdeck und Platz 47 Sebastian Zottmann ,Die Senioren, Platz 11 für Matthias Ridler , Platz 26 für Logan Wilms und Platz 27 für Josef Gindert, Bei den Beginnern wieder am Start Nicolas Ottis als 32 und bei den Gästen Tobias Löffler als 24 und Harro Schücktanz als 65.
Am kommenden Wochenende gehen 16 Fahrer vom Team bei dem legendären 24 Stundenrennen an den Start,

2013 MX ITALIAN SERIES – ARCO DI TRENTO
The last round of 2013 Mx Italian Series took place in Arco di Trento, where the GP of Trentino of the World Championship will be held on the 14th of April.
In Mx1 Shaun Simpson went on his apprenticeship on his TM 450, obtaining good results in the qualifying practices and finishing 6th. However, Simpson didn’t take advantage of the good place in the starting gate but thanks to a good rhythm he managed to catch up some positions finishing 7th. Mx2 riders, Samuele Bernardini and Ivo Monticelli, had two great qualifying practices entering both the top ten; Bernardini realized the overall 6th fast lap, while Monticelli the 8th.
The two young riders on their 250s didn’t start so well and they had to work hard to catch up positions because of the lack of lines. Bernardini finished 16th, while Ivo 20th, but both qualified for the Elite.
In 125, Tomas Ragadini fell twice and in the second race he was brought to hospital for a routine check after a bad crash.
In the Elite, after a great start, Shaun Simpson had to work hard for a non-perfect setting of his bike finishing 8th. Ivo Monticelli finished 13th and despite a crash Samuele Bernardini succeeded entering the top ten thanks to an excellent start.
Ricci Racing Team’s next race will be the 2nd March for the first GP of the World Championship in Qatar.

“I think today our performance could be better. It hasn’t been a good day. Thomas fell and he hit his head. Now he’s in hospital for a check but it isn’t a serious injure. In the Elite, Monticelli had a good start and he realized a good result. Shaun raced well but we have to work hard to develop his suspensions. Now we come back home to prepare the bikes and then send them for the GPs of Qatar and Thailand.”
Simpson
“Today in the Elite we tried another setting on the bike but we haven’t found the perfect one yet. The track is very difficult: very slippery and with little grip. In the Elite I started well and I had a good speed but I need to find a good setting for my suspensions and improve the feature of the engine. I’m rather satisfied: the bike gradually improves and I think these races are useful especially in order to have some tests and I’m sure we’ll be ready for the first GP of the season.”
Monticelli
“In the first race I had a bad start because I jumped out of the starting gate well but then I got wrong with the gear. I tried to catch up some positions but I crashed four or five times. Maybe I was too nervous and I finished 20th even if my rhythm was good. I had a very bad race. In the Elite I had a better start and I had a great recover finishing 13th. In these races I had a great training and now we are ready for the first GP of the season in Qatar. ”

Bernardini
“Today the last round of the Italian Series took place here in Arco di Trento and I’m rather satisfied with my performance because in the Mx2 I finished 3rd in the qualifying practices. In the Elite I started in the top ten but then I crashed and my bike didn’t start so I was forced to stop.”
